Appointment Wilma Schouten as CFO and Geert Embrechts as Supervisory Board member of NWB Bank
Wilma Schouten is appointed as new CFO and statutory member of the Managing Board of NWB Bank. This happened during an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders at 13 May. At the same time, Geert Embrechts was appointed as new member of the Supervisory Board. For both appointments, the necessary consent from the supervisors has been obtained.

Wilma Schouten (1972) brings over 25 years of experience within the financial services industry to the table. She has fulfilled various roles at different financial institutions. Wilma holds a master’s degree in Business Econometrics at the Erasmus University Rotterdam and she obtained an Executive MBA from the Simon Business University School of the University of Rochester, New York, as well as Nyenrode Business University. Wilma is also member of the Supervisory Board and Audit Committee of Zuyderland Medical Center.
Geert Embrechts (1970) is CFO of Rabobank Wholesale & Rural and has more than 25 years of experience within the international banking sector. Geert is familiar with ECB and DNB banking supervision as well as with relevant developments in the area of sustainability reporting.
