Nederlandse Waterschapsbank N.V. (NWB Bank) is a national promotional bank. Through our activities, we help public entities to achieve their policy goals. We were founded in 1954 by and for local water authorities. Over time, we began to finance the wider Dutch public sector as well. As a ‘significant bank’, we are under the direct supervision of the European Central Bank.
