NWB Bank successfully issues another benchmark SDG Housing Bond

With great success, NWB Bank has issued a 10-year € 1.75 billion SDG Housing Bond. The proceeds of this and other SDG Housing Bonds are used for the financing of affordable, and sustainable social housing in the Netherlands.

In total, NWB Bank has now issued more than €20 billion in ESG bonds (Environmental, Social and Governance), making NWB Bank the largest issuer of sustainable bonds in the Netherlands. Internationally, the bank is considered a leading issuer of ESG bonds within the SSA (Sovereigns, Supranationals, and Agencies) space. NWB Bank has committed itself to raising at least 25% of its annual long-term funding through sustainable bond issuances.

The € 1.75 billion SDG Housing Bond was issued under NWB Bank’s €60,000,000,000 Debt Issuance Program. The 10-year bond will settle on the 19th of January 2022 and be repaid in full on the 19th of January 2032. The bond has a annual coupon of 0.25% and a re-offer price of 99.019%, for a re-offer yield of 0.368%. Lead managers for this transaction are Barclays, BNP Paribas, Danske Bank and JP Morgan. The notes will be listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange.
