Our application procedure

If you apply to join us, you'll go through a series of steps. If you are applying for a management position, your application process may differ from the steps outlined below.

Applying for a job

You send us your resume and cover letter, explaining why you find our job opening and organization interesting. If we are as enthusiastic about you as you are about us, we'd like to get to know you better.

The initial interview

During the first interview, we aim to determine if there is a match between you and our organization. Additionally, we discuss your competencies, motivation, and work experience. This interview can take place either at our office or through a video call. Feel free to use this opportunity to get to know the bank and your interviewers better.

The follow-up interviews

If the first interview is positive from both sides, we invite you for a second interview, where you'll get to know team members more closely. We delve into your future tasks and responsibilities within the role. This interview also provides an opportunity to ask any remaining questions. In most cases, after the second interview, you'll have the opportunity to meet with a member of the executive team.

The employment terms discussion

If both parties are still enthusiastic, we will present you with an offer that aligns with your role and work experience. During the discussion, we will go through the employment conditions together, and you'll have the opportunity to ask any questions.

The screening

If you have accepted the offer, we will initiate the pre-employment screening (PES). This is a mandatory screening process before you can join our organization. The screening is outsourced to a specialized third party. Your diplomas, previous employer(s), and identity document will be verified. You provide a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) and a personal integrity statement. We also conduct several checks. If there are no issues identified during the screening, you will officially join our team.

Welcome to NWB Bank!

On your first day, your colleagues from the team will welcome you. At the beginning of your employment, you'll be paired with a buddy to whom you can address all your questions. You will also be invited to the introduction day, along with other colleagues who have recently started. After a few months, you'll have the 100-days lunch with the management, a pleasant occasion where we would love to hear about your experiences from the initial months.
