Maarten Otto appointed as new commissioner to the supervisory board of the NWB Bank

Maarten Otto is appointed as new commissioner to the supervisory board of the NWB Bank in the shareholders meeting of 17th April 2025. He is the successor of Frida van den Maagdenberg, who resigns due to reaching her maximum term.

Otto is the CEO of network company Alliander, where he is responsible for the development, construction and management of power grids in the provinces Gelderland, Friesland, Noord-Holland, Flevoland and parts of Zuid-Holland. Otto started his career in consulting and joined Alliander in 2017.

‘With his managerial experience in the energy sector, his motivation to contribute in an impactful way to a sustainable Netherlands ánd his energetic personality, Maarten is a great addition to the current composition of the board.’ according to Joanne Kellermann, chairman of the supervisory board. Otto will also be member of the risk committee.

Kellermann continuous: ‘We thank Frida for her valuable contribution to our board. With her extended experience, heart for the public cause and sharp eye, she was always ready to support the bank in an excellent way.’
